PIEP – Centre for Innovation in Polymer Engineering – CCG/ZGDV Institute will organise an Open Day on February 3rd entitled “Digitalisation and Strategic Skills – Towards a Sustainable Future”, within the scope of the PRODUTECH DIH – Digital Innovation Hub project.
This Open Day, aimed at SMEs, is an opportunity for companies in the manufacturing industry to learn about the new and different technological solutions available, with real impact, capable of triggering production and monitoring processes in an increasingly digital and competitive market.
This event will bring small and medium-sized enterprises closer to current and future digital technologies that are transforming the operational and business models of the industry. In the morning, the doors of PIEP will be open, and in the afternoon, those of CCG/ZGDV will be open, giving participants access to various demonstrators developed to address productivity, efficiency, quality, and safety challenges in production processes.
Digitalisation, Automation, Advanced Programming, Sensoring, Robotics, Simulation, Retrofitting, Failure Analysis, Artificial Intelligence, Industrial Cybersecurity, and Augmented Reality will be some of the themes and technologies explored at this Open Day, distributed across the two technological and innovation centers of the University of Minho.
This event aims to establish a bridge with industry for innovation projects and future technological collaborations.
