Development of plastic technologies and products for airbag systems

The project endogenized and improved technologies for the development of plastic products for airbag systems, developing new capacities and skills in computational methods (calculation using the finite element method) and expeditious experimental tests.

The AirBAG project provided knowledge and confidence in the calculation methodologies that allow the optimization of geometries in order to reduce raw material costs, increasing the company’s competitiveness that will translate into better and more economical products.
