Tests and Failure Analysis

Collaboration protocol with the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN), with the purpose of developing experimental procedures for monitoring the degradation of power and signal cables used in particle accelerators.

CERN recognizes in PIEP and the University of Minho solid scientific and technological competencies in Science and Polymer Engineering, so, simultaneously, consultancy actions have been developed in the field of tests and trials and the definition of specifications of materials and products.
