The MANTEL project aims to pioneer a sustainable alternative to the current dependence on the technical textiles industry. It seeks to drive innovation in more sustainable materials for use in high-quality, high-performance textile coatings, making them suitable for the health and safety sector.

Key Innovations:

•Improvement of interlayer adhesion through a coating capable of promoting intermaterial bonding, allowing the elimination of adhesives between layers and simplifying the production and recycling process.

•Integrated antibacterial functionality: reducing the proliferation of microorganisms and increasing the durability and hygiene of the final product.

•Traceability and sustainability throughout the lifecycle: Development of a marker that enables the identification and tracking of the product.
