We are delighted to announce Petrotec as the latest Centre for Innovation in Polymer Engineering (PIEP) member. With a 40-year history, Petrotec is Europe’s largest manufacturer of fuel station equipment and one of the few global players in the entire mobility value chain, including solutions for the oil and gas, electric mobility, and hydrogen sectors.

PIEP, for its part, is a private law association with a technological and scientific matrix, which acts as the University of Minho’s Technological Interface Center for the plastics sector. Its mission is to boost the competitiveness of companies through technological innovation, developing research, development, and innovation activities in various strategic sectors.

Petrotec’s membership of PIEP represents a strategic union aimed at strengthening innovation and technological development in the mobility and polymer engineering sector. This partnership will allow us to explore new opportunities for collaboration in research and development projects, promoting advanced and sustainable solutions to the industry’s current challenges.
