As part of its positioning and strategic role for national and international industry, PIEP joined, in early 2019, the Business Development Network: Smartwaste Portugal, thus reinforcing its commitment to the areas of Circular Economy and Sustainability.

This initiative defends the transition from linear models to circular consumption and production models, creating, for this purpose, a network that reinforces and promotes, through the collaboration of its stakeholders, the economic valorization and the competitive positioning of waste and reusable materials in Portugal.
With this entry, PIEP aims to support the initiative with its know-how and experience in the plastics sector, technically supporting the strategies and solutions, created within the scope of Smartwaste Portugal, for the national industry.
