Digital Innovation HUB

The PRODUTECH DIH project aims to promote the digitalisation of the manufacturing industry through targeted interventions in production technologies, leveraging their role in the industry’s digital transformation.

The project aims to facilitate access to related services and organisations through its portal. Comprising 19 organizations, it offers a variety of services, including technology diagnostics, support in identifying suppliers and partners, demonstrations of innovative solutions, advanced training, support for new business development, and identification of funding sources.

From the vast portfolio of services available, some examples include: preparation of technology diagnostics and roadmaps, support in identifying suppliers and partners, validation and demonstration of innovative solutions, technology studies, advanced training, support for new business development, and identification of funding sources.

PIEP has been actively contributing to this challenge by participating in Produtech DIH – Digital Innovation HUB, an ecosystem that supports companies in adopting advanced digital technologies.

Through its DAPA (Digitalisation, Automation, and Advanced Programming) technical area, PIEP provides companies with services focused on the digitalisation of industrial processes, integration of industrial data, equipment retrofitting, and artificial intelligence applied to production.

One of the fundamental pillars of this work is the “test before investment” approach, allowing companies to experiment, validate, and reduce risks before investing in new technologies, accelerating the adoption of Industry 4.0 solutions.
