Development of polymeric systems reinforced with cellulose fibers, valuing the application in eco-sustainable products

The incorporation of natural eucalyptus fiber, derived from non-valued by-products of the cellulose industry, in the reinforcement of polymeric systems, significantly improves its mechanical and environmental performance, contributing to the sector’s environmental sustainability.

Through the injection moulding process, it is possible to obtain the console component, using the PP and PLA biocomposites with 30% cellulose.
