PIEP Hosted the Workshop Cycle: Circularity by Material Design | Sustainable Plastics Agenda.

On January 28, 2026, PIEP – Centre for Innovation in Polymer Engineering  – hosted the Workshop for Work Package 1: Circularity by Material Design, integrated into the Sustainable Plastics Mobilising Agenda.

This workshop presented the concrete developments of the following projects:

PPS 1: NEW MP
PPS 2: ECO BOARD
PPS 3: RECPET

The session was part of a workshop cycle dedicated to disseminating the progress of the different Work Packages and brought together experts from the technical and scientific fields, as well as representatives from academia and industry.

This initiative reinforces the joint commitment of the Sustainable Plastics Agenda of APIP – Portuguese Plastics Industry Association – and PIEP to innovation, sustainability, and circularity in the plastics sector, promoting research, technological development, collaboration, and innovation.
