The PIEP Academy is an initiative that integrates all PIEP services and activities aimed at the ecosystem of education, qualification, and professional training, developing activities focused on human resources, which will be embodied in the aspects of re-skill, up-skill, and personal development.
Innovatively, the Academy will stimulate and respond to the challenges of companies, professionals in the sector, and young people on an educational and training path, in terms of knowledge and skills essential for the competitiveness of companies.
This initiative aims to capture, retain, and develop talent in companies based on the specific needs of the market and companies in the PIEP environment, as well as formatting and preparing the necessary tools for building a successful career in the sector.
The PIEP Academy is an engaging response to the needs of the sector, which is divided into several activities, such as:
- Advanced training through MSc, PhD, and Specialization
- Modular and “Tailor-made” Training Plans for companies
- DGERT certified training
- Exchanges with other R&D Centers and Universities at an international level
- Learning Factories, Workshops, Webinars, Open Days, Forums, and Actions with Secondary Schools and University Students
This initiative is carried out in partnership with the University of Minho, particularly with DEP-UM professors (Department of Polymer Engineering).
