Starting on June 2nd, the PIEP technology and innovation center and the University of Minho are organizing a free course on H2 Storage Technologies, which will cover aspects such as materials and production processes, pressure tank projects, case studies, and laboratory work.
One of the objectives of the INTERREG POCTEP HI_MOV project – Cross-border technological corridor for Mobility with Renewable Hydrogen is to transform Galicia and the North of Portugal into a leading region with highly qualified personnel in hydrogen technologies at its disposal. To this end, it promotes the improvement of existing capabilities through separate specialized hydrogen training courses open to the general public.
Teachers:
Professor Carla Martins (IPC – Institute of Polymers and Composites – University of Minho)
Dr Braian Uribe (IPC – Institute of Polymers and Composites – University of Minho)
Dr. Helena Rocha (PIEP – Polymer Engineering Innovation Hub)
Dr. Paulo Antunes (PIEP – Polymer Engineering Innovation Hub)
Engineer Pedro Abreu (PIEP – Polymer Engineering Innovation Hub).

This course offers a comprehensive approach for professionals and researchers who wish to expand, update, and apply their knowledge in sustainable hydrogen technologies from a theoretical-practical perspective.
The HI_MOV Cross-border Technological Corridor for Mobility with Renewable Hydrogen project aims to articulate a cross-border ecosystem that promotes a value chain around hydrogen in the Galicia-Northern Portugal Euroregion, contributing to sustainable mobility based on renewable sources. HI_MOV is co-financed by the European Union through the Interreg VI-A Spain-Portugal Programme (POCTEP) 2021-2027.
