The candidacies for the Mobilizing Agendas and the Green Agendas for Business Innovation of the Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR) resulted in 64 selected Agendas, with access to the stage of presentation of final proposals.

The PIEP integrates 10 of the 64 projects selected to move to the second phase, under the Mobilizing Agendas for Business Innovation of the Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR), addressing fundamental issues for the resilience of the national industry, such as sustainability, through the integration of recycled materials, bioplastics and biocomposites in high-performance products while, at the same time, promoting the adoption of advanced production technologies allowing to increase energy efficiency levels and reduce production waste.

The PIEP – Centre for Innovation in Polymer Engineering – through its partners, thus intends to contribute to an increase in exports of goods and services and to a reduction in CO2 emissions.
