R&D Processes for Integrated Injection

The polymers area will apply numerical models to analyze the thermoplastic material behavior during the injection moulding process of the produced part using Mucell® technology, taking into account overmoulding on a decorative and functional film concerning IML technology.

Resort to a DOE to optimize and define the best processing conditions. Integration of different technologies and techniques (Overmoulding/IML/Mucell) simultaneously to allow the manufacture of decorative and functional products, with reduced cost by reducing injection cycles, elimination and/or reduction of the assembly steps, reduction of final weight, and reorganization of traditional productive layouts for an integrated production cell system.
