PIEP – Innovation in Polymer Engineering will hold an innovation FORUM with the support of the Municipality of Guimarães, on January 8th at the Vila Flor Cultural Center in Guimarães, to debate the role of Innovation in leveraging a Smarter Society and Sustainable.
PIEP, as the Technology and Innovation Center of the University of Minho, is aware of the importance of innovation for the country’s economic growth, its challenges in the global context, and the achievement of carbon neutrality by 2045 in our society, intends, with the innovation Forum, to create an innovation Hub that facilitates and promotes synergies between academia, industry, and the public sector, in a debate focused on our collective future.
Innovation presents itself as one of the basic pillars of the economy’s competitiveness, contributing decisively to the growth model of any country, a preponderant factor in improving people’s quality of life, and fundamental to leveraging our societal transformation.
