PIEP – Centre for Innovation in Polymer Engineering – will participate in AOP 2024 – the 6th International Conference on Application of Optics and Photonics, held at the University of Aveiro from July 16 to 19.

PIEP has been invited to present the latest results obtained in the field of process and product digitalization in composite materials, using embedded optical sensorization.

The presentation entitled “Optical Sensorization for the Monitoring of Composite Parts on Manufacturing, Assembly, Integration and Testing Phases” will demonstrate the potential of optical sensorization in the integral monitoring methodology that PIEP has been applying in various digitalization projects with composite materials.
