The TDII – Centre for Digital Transition and Industrial Innovation Association – was officially established. This strategic project will transform the former milling factory in Rio de Galinhas (Marco de Canaveses) into a leading industrial innovation hub for the entire Tâmega e Sousa region.
The public deed establishing the association was signed on March 30th at the facilities of the Polytechnic Institute of Porto, with the presence of representatives from the 18 founding entities and the Marco de Canaveses City Council.
The new association is the result of collaboration between entities from the scientific, technological, and business sectors to promote digital transition and industrial innovation, creating more economic value, knowledge, and opportunities for the region.
As a founding member of the association, PIEP plays a key role in defining and realizing this innovation hub, contributing its scientific and technological expertise to the region’s economic and technological development, thereby consolidating its role as an active agent in digital transformation and industrial innovation in a regional context.
