On November 24th, PIEP – the Centre for Innovation in Polymer Engineering – will hold a free workshop at its facilities in Guimarães, dedicated to the theme “Intelligent Digitalisation – Case Studies”.

The workshop, held within the scope of the Polarise project, will demonstrate the crucial role that digitalisation currently plays in companies and industry in general, through the use of sensors in industrial equipment and digital twins, among other new technologies.

It will feature contributions from PIEP specialists and from the companies IDENER and AI Square, who will present practical cases in the context of innovation projects, and how Artificial Intelligence can be used to boost science and engineering, generating value for society.

This workshop, aimed at companies, students, and those interested in the topic of intelligent industrial digitalisation, will begin at 2 PM and is scheduled to end at 4 PM.
