On November 12, at the University of Minho, the memorandum of understanding was signed for the creation of the Tech Alliance – a collaborative network of innovation, science, and technology in the north of the country.

This network is constituted by entities dedicated to repairing efforts for the development of new products and services of added value, in areas such as health, mechanics, and polymers.

The Tech Alliance will be operationalized through joint projects that cross the R&D and innovation agendas of the collaborative laboratories, based on the complementarity of:

• CEiiA
• 4LifeLab
• CCG – Centro de Computação Gráfica
• DONE Lab
• PIEP – Pólo de Inovação em Engenharia de Polímeros
• ICVS – Instituto de Investigação em Ciências da Vida e Saúde
• Centro Clínico Académico

This union of forces will contribute to the development of work that enables intervention in the current and future challenges of society.
