For a sustainable future: PIEP participates in the Plastics Summit – Global Event

Committed to contributing to the construction of a more sustainable future, PIEP will participate in the Plastics Summit Global Event organized by APIP – Associação Portuguesa da Indústria de Plásticos – taking place on October 17 in Lisbon, at FIL – Feira Internacional de Lisboa.

Plastic plays a valuable economic role and has essential applications in many industries. However, their use in short-lived applications that are not designed to be reused or recycled effectively makes their production and consumption patterns inefficient and linear. As PIEP is a reference institution in the solutions presented for this sector, it has sought to demystify the use of plastic in packaging or other applications and to boost the transition to the circular economy.

The Plastics Summit – Global Event 2022 presents itself as a disruptive event, bringing together the main stakeholders for a sustainable future, and raising awareness of climate citizenship supported by planetary health.

In order to serve as a forum for ideas, this event seeks to converge the views of different stakeholders to present comprehensive and engaging solutions for the entire plastic value chain.

This will result in a commitment through a position statement that will translate a global vision and action to create a more sustainable environment and circular future for plastics.

Bring your ideas and join this important event. More info: event website
