On September 9th, PIEP – Innovation in Polymer Engineering – will hold a free workshop on digitalization and automation in its installations in Guimarães.
This workshop brings together experts from Academia, Industry, and Technology and Innovation Centers to present and discuss key topics in implementing digitalisation and automation processes and how they are key to increasing productivity, efficiency, and process control in companies.
The workshop will provide an overview of digitalization and automation, including:
• Key concepts: Digitalisation, Automation, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), Artificial Vision, Robotics, Internet of Things (IoT), Big Data, Data Analysis;
• Tools: Hardware, Software, Applications, Web Monitoring, Data Analysis tools, AI tools;
• Future perspectives: Industry trends and how companies can prepare for the future.
