On April 24th, the PIEP laboratories in Guimarães will be open for the “Unveiling Solutions: The Journey from Ocean Recovery to Sustainable Processing” Workshop.
This workshop brings together experts, scientists, and entrepreneurs committed to finding tangible solutions to combat the oceans’ plastic pollution. Throughout the workshop, we will explore innovative strategies for plastic recovery, advanced processing techniques, and sustainable approaches that aim to mitigate and, ideally, reverse this global problem.
Our speakers and attendees will share experiences, knowledge, and best practices as we discuss the latest technology advances, policy, and community initiatives. Together, we are committed to turning challenges into opportunities and finding viable paths toward a future where the oceans are free from the threat of plastics.
This workshop is held within the scope of the POLARISE project. PIEP will increase interaction, valorization, and knowledge transfer to the business community and other economic and social actors, contributing to innovation, entrepreneurship, and skills development in organizations and people.
